...From the desk of Dr. Witt
This past month our student council has been holding "Socktober." This collection drive was for new socks and shoes and many students have benefited from this collection within our school. Thank you to the parents who have donated to this cause. As a school, we are always open to donations of NEW child size underwear, socks, bookbags and shoes. All items must be in its original packaging or with tags. Thank you in advance for your continued support.

Changing buses or riding another bus home should be saved for emergency situations or unexpected needs and must be accompanied by a note from a parent/guardian stating the address of the bus stop. As a district, we ask families to refrain from using the bus to allow students go to a friend’s house after school.
Our Christmas program will be held on Monday, December 11th and Tuesday, December 12th. Students in 1st, 3rd, and 5th Grade will be performing. Children attending Kindergarten next year are encouraged to attend.
Parents/guardians with the last names beginning with a letter from A-L are asked to attend on Monday.
Parents/guardians with the last names beginning with a letter from M-Z are asked to attend the performance on Tuesday.
This schedule will enable us to effectively accommodate those in attendance. The outside side door will open at 1:15 for the 1:30 performance, as we must prepare the cafeteria after lunch.
Please sign the sign-out sheet as you enter the building if you will be taking your child home after the performance. Students will not be dismissed during the performance and will only be dismissed to an individual whose name appears on the emergency contact forms. Dismissal will not begin until students return to their classrooms. No exceptions.
All volunteers are now required to obtain their three clearances to volunteer (good for five years). The Act 34 Criminal and Act 151 Child Abuse can be obtained online with no cost to you since you are a volunteer. The Act 114 FBI Finger Prints can be waived if both the Criminal and Child Abuse clearances come back without incident. A waiver can be signed in the school office for this. We will be looking for a large amount of volunteers for our end of the year Fun Day. If you are interested in volunteering please take care of this immediately and submit all copies to the office. We thank you in advance for your willingness to help.
