Albert Gallatin School District is committed to creating and sustaining a
comprehensive, coordinated effort to improve the overall safety and well-being
of our students, educators and administrators.
do this, we believe this must involve community-wide program and initiatives involving
parents, teachers, administrators, local law enforcement, mental health and
wellness professionals and elected officials to take meaningful action to
protect our students.
state of Pennsylvania recently mandated under PA State Law/Act 44 the use of
the anonymous reporting system “Safe2Say Something.” This system gives students, or anyone, the ability to report a variety of concerns to the Safe2Say Something anonymous tip line. The tips are reviewed and forwarded to the school district’s team or state police and Fayette County 911 center to investigate the matter.
The Albert Gallatin School District will be holding an informational session at the Albert Gallatin High School’s Auditorium on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 6:00 pm. This will be an opportunity for parents/guardians to learn how the
Safe2Say Something anonymous reporting system operates.
