The other mascots chosen were the Wolverines & the Cobras, while the other school
colors were crimson & white and purple & teal.

The Fairchance-Georges High School building became the Senior High School.
While the Albert Gallatin High School building became AG South & the German Township
High School building became AG North.
AG North was nicknamed the Lions and AG South nicknamed the Eagles.
The idea was that when the two schools combined at the Senior High,
the lion and eagle would make the Griffin.
